 Video is the #1 form of media used in content strategy, overtaking blogs and infographics — according to  HubSpot Research, Global Survey, Nov - Dec 2019. The same research found that product and service promotional videos and brand storytelling are the most common video types created by businesses.

Photos remain the most common type of Facebook post and generate strong engagement.

However, videos result in much higher interaction; videos have 65% more interactions than images, according to a 2019 study reported by Quintly. The same report states that videos account for just 3 percent of Facebook page posts compared to 54 percent for photos.
